Are you experiencing a pet emergency? Don’t panic – call us right away!
As a loving pet parent, when an accident or sudden illness occurs, it can be an extremely stressful time. At Winchester Veterinary Clinic, we want to be there for you in your time of need to help alleviate your worry and anxiety as much as possible.
Our hospital is equipped with everything needed to handle even the most critical of situations, and our staff is well trained in emergency veterinary care. Rest assured that if your animal family member experiences a pet emergency, we will do everything within our power to get the situation under control and improve the chances of a positive outcome.
Seek emergency treatment right away if your pet:
- Has been hit by a car
- Has been poisoned
- Has ingested a foreign object or toxic substance
- Is bleeding
- Is vomiting excessively
- Is having a seizure
- Is having trouble urinating
- Is experiencing excessive diarrhea
- Is having a difficult time breathing
- Is having difficulty giving birth
We always recommend giving us a call right away, prior to bringing your pet in for care. This allows us to assess the situation and advise you on what you should do in the interim. It also provides us time to prepare the staff and our hospital for your pet’s arrival. If the circumstances are too urgent to allow for a phone call, please don’t hesitate to come straight to the hospital.
Critical care is available any time during our normal office hours.
